Scouting Label Sites are maintained by volunteers. Whether this means cleaning, bookkeeping, bush maintenance or welcoming guests, the volunteers take great pleasure in committing themselves to the various sites. Label sites need a lot of care!
Why should I become a Label Site Volunteer?
We'll let Jasper, label Site crew member, explain:
'Being a Label Site crew member is Scouting at its best. Maintaining your own spot in the best places the Netherlands has to offer. It's a way to meet Scouts from all over Europe and a way to be of service to people. Being a crew member is a full time operation, day and night. Most guests appreciate crew members being able to answer their questions or who offers them a place to put their feet up for a bit. You're like a Jack of all trades: ranger, paramedic, service desk, handy man and host all at once. It's the little things that make a good camp great and it's great to be the one to make the difference!'
How to become a volunteer
Got some spare time on your hands? No longer as active at your own group? Do you wish to spend less time at Scouting but still remain part of the Scouting way? Or do you wish to add even more Scout-activities to your list of things to do? There's always a Label Site which can use an extra hand. Just look for a Label Site to your liking. Look up the contact details or check the sites own website for contact details.
